Trafford's Children and Young People's Plan is a seminal piece of work. For the first time in Trafford the different services, statutory and voluntary, have worked together to identify those actions that will most help to improve the quality of life of children and young people in the Borough.
We have carried out a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the needs of children and young people, through analysing data and, more importantly, listening to what children and young people see as their needs, concerns and priorities. Given the scale and complexity of these needs we cannot do everything. So, we are focusing on 12 key priorities, which we believe will best improve outcomes for children and young people.
