Swine Flu_Guidance for Employees

What is Swine Flu and what are the symptoms?
The A/H1N1 influenza virus (Swine Flu) is a respiratory illness which was initially reported in parts of Mexico and which is now being reported in other countries including the UK. The main symptoms include a sudden onset of fever, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties. Other symptoms can include headache, sore throat, tiredness, aching muscles, chills, sneezing, runny nose, limb or joint pain, diarrhoea or stomach upset, or loss of appetite.

Don't panic! For most people who have swine flu, their symptoms will be no worse than for normal seasonal flu.
