CYPS Meet the director forums

Meet the director Forum

The Forum is held on a Bi-Monthly basis for staff from CYPS 'Provider' Directorate to get an opportunity to receive feedback on key issues in CYPS (and from THT, PCT and TMBC). The Forum also gives staff the opportunity to meet and ask questions of one of the Joint Directors; Carol Baker-Longshaw (Healthcare) and/or Charlotte Ramsden (Social Care).

The Forum notes will be circulated to all the attendees.

The attendees will be a cross section of (non-Management) staff from each of the three partner agencies which form CYPS; staff from each agency will be selected by their HOS or can volunteer to their HOS to attend the Forum Meetings:-

2 staff from YOS
2 staff from CiC
2 staff from CAMHS
2 staff from Connexions
3 staff from CAN
3 staff from North FSS
3 staff from South FSS
3 staff from West FSS

The attendees are expected to feedback and cascade information to their colleagues.

The notes from the meetings will be sent to the attendees and all HOS so as they can facilitate Team Meetings in their service areas.

Integrated Children's System (ICS)
**ICS is used internally by Social Care (CYPS) staff only.
The Integrated Children's System has been developed to improve outcomes for children defined as being in need, under the Children's Act 1989.
The ICS process gathers complicated and detailed information about Trafford's children and young people and thus shall be stored in a supporting electronic record system.
Information shall only be available to practitioners who have a combination of granted consent and where appropriate, the necessary access levels. This system compliments the "Integrated Working" approach.
