Maternity and Child Health Commissioning Strategic Plan 2011-2014

About the Plan
This commissioning strategic plan (CSP) intends to provide a shared understanding of the current and future direction for the commissioning (and provision) of maternity, children and young people's health services for the GP registered population within Trafford. It is related to the Health and Wellbeing strand of Trafford's Children and Young People's Strategy, which is currently in the final stages of consultation before full publication.

Accompanying the CSP is a full needs assessment covering all aspects of maternity and child health. You can read this document for further information about the context of the CSP. please note, we are not seeking consultation feedback for the needs assessment document.

Areas for feedback
This consultation is open to anybody who is interested in maternity and child health services in Trafford. We are looking for feedback regarding the content of the document in terms of its presentation, how clearly its messages are communicated and the quality and thoroughness of the content.

We welcome all feedback, however, we would particularly welcome responses to the following questions:

Presentation
- Is the document attractively presented in a logical fashion?
- Is the layout clear and unfussy?

Communication
- Is the document easy to read and understand?
- After reading the document, do you feel that you have a clear understanding of what our priorities are and why they are our priorities?

Content
Are there any gaps / suggested changes that you would like to highlight in the following areas:
- General content of the document
- Aspirations for the next three years (pages 8 - 9)
- Service specific priorities and planned investments (pages 9 - 12)
- Key actions for 2011 / 12 (page 16)
