Relationships Matter

Relationships Matter

Your relationship in trouble or broken down? Would you like to see more and better help available? I am helping a team of researchers at Newcastle University and the Family and Parenting Institute find out more about what poses the greatest threats to couples in all sorts of relationships at different life stages, and about the kinds of support people need then and would find most helpful.

It is Government funded with the aim of making sure that new support services enable everyone to get the right help at the right time.

The researchers want to hear from anyone, in confidence, whose relationship has broken down - who may be in the process of separating from a life partner or have separated already, or been divorced.

If you would like to help, please contact the research team as soon as possible: email RelationshipsMatter@newcastle.ac.uk;
or write to Relationships Matter, PO Box 1260, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE99 2FQ;
or phone 0191 222 7963;

Youth Advocacy July Update
All the latest news from Youth Advocacy

Integrated Children's System (ICS)
**ICS is used internally by Social Care (CYPS) staff only The Integrated Children's System has been developed to improve outcomes for children defined as being in need, under the Children's Act 1989. The ICS process gathers complicated and detailed information about Trafford's children and young people and thus shall be stored in a supporting electronic record system. Information shall only be available to practitioners who have a combination of granted consent and where appropriate, the necessary access levels. This system compliments the "Integrated Working" approach.

Further information on this area can be sought from:
