MYP's in the House of Commons

Young People take over the House of Commons

Two of Trafford's MYP's attended a historic debate in the House of Commons. Elmyra and Georgia visited London and got to be the first non-MP's to debate in the House of Commons.

They sat on the famous green seats and took part in debating the big issues as voted for by the children and young people of the country. The five issues debated were:

- Lowering the voting age to 16
- Youth crime and how to tackle it
- Public transport for young people
- Jobs for young people and the economy
- University fees

Integrated Children's System (ICS)
**ICS is used internally by Social Care (CYPS) staff only The Integrated Children's System has been developed to improve outcomes for children defined as being in need, under the Children's Act 1989. The ICS process gathers complicated and detailed information about Trafford's children and young people and thus shall be stored in a supporting electronic record system. Information shall only be available to practitioners who have a combination of granted consent and where appropriate, the necessary access levels. This system compliments the "Integrated Working" approach.
