Workforce Learning & Business Development Team
The Workforce Learning & Business Development Team provide learning and development opportunities for Early Years Foundation Stage, Childcare and Play Practitioners within Trafford. We work in partnership with key stakeholders, other services, training providers and colleges, to ensure that children and young people achieve the five Every Child Matters outcomes by delivering key Children's Workforce Development priorities and to ensure the development needs of the childcare workforce across the borough are identified and that standards and levels of performance are improved.
A Learning & Development Programme is published termly containing courses for Early Years Foundation Stage, Childcare and Playwork practitioners to access.

A funding programme for accredited qualifications is also available enabling Early Years Foundation Stage, Childcare and Playwork practitioners on relevant courses to apply for funding towards course costs.

Funding is currently available for people who either live in Trafford or who work in a childcare or play setting located within Trafford, towards the cost of studying towards a relevant qualification.
