A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL CYPS STAFF
A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL CYPS STAFF
We would like to wish all CYPS staff in the Council, PCT and Healthcare Trust the very best for Christmas and the New Year. Have a great time with your families and enjoy a well earned rest.
COUNCIL PERFORMING WELL
Congratulations and thanks to everyone whose work goes towards the Council's Audit Commission 'Use of Resources' score. We have maintained our score of three - consistently performing well - against the much harder test introduced this year. This means we are consistently performing above the minimum in financial reporting, financial management, financial standing, internal controls and value for money. This score contributes to our overall comprehensive performance assessment, which the Audit Commission will be publishing in February.
THANK YOU FROM THE SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP
Marsha White from the SEN Family Support Group has sent the following letter of thanks to all staff who helped make last Saturday's Christmas Party extra special for all the children. "We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of staff. All the children attending the Christmas party will be receiving a donated toy. Each toy is of excellent quality and has been bought with care. We have also had other, very kind, offers of help and support including offers to volunteer at future events, cake making and helping children with homework. The staff also donated raffle prizes, make up for young mums and most of all their best wishes for the children. Thank you seems such a small word to express our sincere gratitude. We at the special educational needs family support group would like to take this opportunity to offer our best wishes to everyone who works for Trafford MBC and thank them for their kind help and support throughout the year."

Overall, 89% of Trafford's fifty-nine primary schools that have been inspected under the current framework have been judged to be 'Good' or 'Outstanding', compared to 61% of schools nationally.
