MULTI-AGENCY SERVICE CONSULTATION REVISED TIMESCALE
Consultation on Phase 6 of establishing the multi-agency service for children and young people commenced on 2 January 2008 and runs until 2 February. This is about proposals regarding the structures for the three area based multi-agency Family Support Services; and the process for appointing to the Heads of Service and Operations Manager posts. The consultation paper has been E-Mailed out to all staff. A range of documents relating to the proposals are on the CYPS Web-site http://www.cyps.org.uk/home/. Three general meetings have been held and there has been a good turn out of staff. Team meetings have been arranged, and you can also submit written comments on the Response Form. Following a request from some staff it has been decided to extend the consultation until 8 February. However, colleagues are urged to submit their written responses as early as possible so that they can be analysed at the 6 February Project Board. Comments after this will be examined at the Executive Team Away Day on 11 February, when recommendations for the CYPS Management Board will be formulated. A revised timescale for establishing the multi-agency service is set out below.
