You can make written comments on the Response Form, which must be submitted by no later than 5.00 p.m. this Friday (8 February). All comments will be analysed by the CYPS Executive Team and recommendations made to the CYPS Management Board on 20 February. Decisions will then be communicated to all staff on 25 February. Heads of Service and Operations Manager appointments will be made in April.
CHILDREN'S FUND HAS MOVED

FAMILY EXHIBITION MARKS SCHOOL CENTENARY
Photographs taken by pupils and families to mark their school centenary are going on show next month at Sale Waterside. As part of the celebrations for Seymour Park Community Primary School last Spring, families took part in a fun art project, organised by the Council's Community Learning Team, taking photographs with a disposable camera of items that were important to them. Each family created a tile containing their photographss that were joined to make a full wall of the artworks at the School. This artwork - around 120 tiles - is being exhibited in the corridor gallery at Sale Waterside from 9 February to 19 April.
The School, on Northumberland Road, opened as Seymour Park Council School on 4 March 1907, has survived two World Wars and severe flooding in 1975. The celebration activities included a "Wax Museum" where Year 6 pupils performed as famous people throughout the last 100 years. An open day was held where all the staff and pupils spent the day dressed up in Edwardian costume and to conclude the week a variety of performances including poetry, drama readings and music from years gone by was given by children at the School.
