Words into Action: Trafford Compact Conference



15th July 2010, 9 am to 2 pm


Sale Waterside Arts Centre


The Trafford Compact is an agreed framework within which Trafford's statutory, voluntary and community organisations can work together for mutual advantage. As partners, we can all use the Compact to make real change, challenge current practice and champion a better way of working for the benefit of all our communities.

The conference will include workshops on:

  • funding and commissioning
  • volunteering and workforce development
  • voluntary and community sector engagement
  • community groups
  • black and minority ethnic groups
It will also feature a key note address from Janet Callender, Chief Executive of Trafford Council and a short feature film on the Compact.
