Launch of 2011 Tender Opportunity

Trafford Children and Young People's Service is inviting providers to tender for targeted early intervention and prevention services for children, young people and their families and Targeted Services for Children and Young People who have Complex and Additional Needs and their Families

Early Intervention and Prevention Services
The funds available for this Service Theme total £450,000. We are seeking a range of creative services which meet our priorities and provide targeted and timely support to vulnerable families in order to prevent escalation of issues and crises.

Targeted Services for Children and Young People who have Complex and Additional Needs and their Families
The funds available for this Service Theme total £300,000. We are seeking a range of creative services which meet our priorities and provide vital short breaks to disabled children, young people and their families.

Two provider information sessions took place on Thursday 13th January 2011 and Friday 14th January 2011 to launch the tender for these two service support areas within Trafford's Children and Young People's Service.

How Do I apply?

We require applications to be submitted only via a national web based system called 'The Chest'; the North West's Local Authority Procurement Portal: the website address is:

www.thechest.nwce.gov.uk/

You will need to click on the 'current opportunities' link on the list on the left had side of the page and search for Trafford Council under the ' Organisation' drop down list. Then click on to the opportunity to wish to bid for. You will need to register to make an application.
